Matt Dippl speaking about Biohacking and Functional Medicine at Quantified Self Amsterdam
I’d say this documented talk is a big part of my origin story of being a early adopter of functional medicine in Europe. A few months later I gave a similar talk at the very first Tech Open Air Festival due to an invitation of Nikolas Woischnik, the founder of Teach Open Air.
Biohacking and Functional Medicine in Europe
This was the first time I know of that the topic of biohacking and functional medicine was covered together in Europe at a public event. I talked covered biomarkers, self-tracking, and inflammation.
During acceleration at Startup Bootcamp Amsterdam many entrepreneurs asked me many questions about nutrition, brain health, and personal energy management. As a result I was called by them for the first time a biohacker. Since then the label stuck and it fits perfectly for what I do.
